At what point does turning a deaf ear to questions about Obama become treason? Why is there no curiosity about Obama’s $600 million windfall? Don’t reporters take pride in being well trained to “follow the money?”   We’ve been told it is Internet giving or donors giving small amounts each month that support Obama's campaign. Come on. Even I can smell something amiss. I learned today that Obama does not use a common automatic electronic verifier to see if the same credit card is being used to over and over.   McCain uses it. Hillary used it. Why is Obama getting away with this?

Let’s play “What if?”   What if Obama has been receiving foreign donations or multiple small donations from the same people allowing them to give more than what is legal?   What if Obama does share the same anti-American ideals as Rev. Wright and Bill Ayers? What if Obama plans to compromise America’s sovereignty for some socialistic agenda or something worse? Can the media be sued for dereliction of duty?

Surely there are some democratic media types who still love America enough to forget partisan goals and who are willing to seek answers to questions that have been virtually ignored.   The entire world knows that the media is ignoring any hint of Obama’s wrongdoing, and the sad part is that the media doesn’t even care that people think that about them. Perhaps they are afraid of repercussions. Barbara West, news anchor from Orlando, had the guts to ask Biden some tough questions; so what happened? Obama’s campaign sent her station a note cutting off all contact with that station. Is the Obama campaign using fear tactics to keep tough LEGITIMATE questions away?

So many of my friends and acquaintances want to know more about Obama—his connections and his finances, but we can’t get the answers we deserve because the media has failed in its job. We are considered fear mongers or right wing extremists when all we want are answers. (Of course, asking questions nowadays is dangerous as Joe the Plumber and Barbara West will tell you.)

Much of America sees through the wool in front of our eyes, and we plan to show up en masse on Election Day. Since many in the media have no spine at all and are proud of it, and since they won’t answer our questions about Obama, hopefully there will be enough of us to answer “No” to this question: Should Obama be President?

We’ve had candidates before to whom nothing would stick, but at least then things were being thrown at them and the voters decided what stuck. We now have our first candidate flying solo underneath the radar with nothing being thrown at him. Well, actually, things are being thrown, but Obama’s surrogates in his campaign and in the  media shoot down and deflect every question. Investigative reporters sit around like a bunch of see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil monkeys, fighting off what should be a natural urge to be curious. A collective “hold your breath, close your eyes, and vote for Obama” zeitgeist controls many voters whose desire for change far outweighs their mental acumen (if the media isn’t feeding them the information, they are too lazy to search for themselves).  Do people really hate Bush that bad that they are willing to possibly sacrifice the future of the country for someone who is untested and has enough suspicious connections to keep him out of other high ranking security jobs?

Bill Clinton once received a free pass from the mighty penetrating eye of the media… that was until Obama came along. Then the press ate him and Hillary alive and enjoyed every bite while the candidate of change tickled their ears with “rhetorical flourishes.” The left now has its pawn, but rest assured, one day, when Obama has outlived his usefulness, he too will be served up with a dollop of bitter herbs and a bunch of sour grapes as some new Messiah—a liberal composite of all left wing agendas— rides a white horse on to the political stage.   Who knows, by then our country will have changed so much that investigative reporters will be outlawed for real, unlike their current self-imposed exile.

Barack - A Fairy Tale

Once upon a time a young boy named Barry was born into a garden paradise. Raised briefly by his father, a goat herder from Africa, and his mother, he got his worldview from his travels “growing up in different places with people who had differing ideas.”Embarrassed by his unique family, Barry fibbed that his father was a prince, his grandfather a chief, and his family name meant "burning spear." Barry struggled to find himself during these years until he finally settled on pursuing his dream to be the leader of The Great Country.

Once of age, Barry entered what is known as The Mysterious College Years of Columbia and Harvard with the help of government loans and a gift from a magical Saudi Arabian purse. Pharmaceutical pursuits erased any memories of this time, and every copy of his thesis paper disappeared; some say it was even nuked. During The Mysterious College Years, Barry traveled to Pakistan for a three-week trip with Mohammed Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, and shortly after the journey, changed his name to Barack.

Also, during The Mysterious Years, Barack met and married Michelle, known as The One Who Mopes. For all her life she had seen the world as a mean place; she was embittered; she felt rejection; and she hung her head in shame until Barack offered her hope. Now, through therapy and the joy of finding “the One,” she has nearly recovered.

After The Mysterious College Years ended, Barack moved to Chicago—known as The Land of Political Opportunism. While there, he spent many days in the WOODS and visited many communities, planting ACORNS and watching them grow into huge trees. The massive branches soon spread into 12 states, bearing all kind of nuts—more than anyone expected and making it impossible to get an accurate count. Soon Barack wanted more and began to seek help in pursuing his goal of becoming the leader of The Great Country.

No one knows where and how Barrack learned to make friends, but this skill has not gone unnoticed. Barack’s mentor, the Prophet Jeremiah of the Land of Trinity, skillfully hid his hatred of The Great Country from him for the entire twenty years that Barack sat under his tutelage. Hannity the Fox revealed Jeremiah’s words, shocking Barack and prompting him to say, “That’s not the Jeremiah I knew.” Realizing that the expedient associations he made in the Land of Trinity were now placing his dream in jeopardy, Barack reluctantly put the prophet under the Bus of Regret, promising to pardon him later at a more convenient time. Once Prophet Jeremiah’s great sin was revealed to the world and his punishment arranged, some of Barack’s other friends objected and came to the Prophet’s defense, only to be thrown under the same Bus as the Prophet.

During his time in the WOODS of Chicago, Barack met a person in his neighborhood who wished to help him reach his dream. Barack traveled past the Land of Resko to the House of Ayers to meet The Professor. There The Professor helped to light a fuse for Barack’s political career, launching him to the Illinois State Senate where Barack exploded onto the political scene.

The Professor, well known in government circles, originally made his mark on society when the young Barry was only eight years old, making it impossible for Barack to join him in his pursuit to change The Great Country one building at a time. However, all was not lost. They were both able to play together in the WOODS for 4 years, planting ACORNS and educating children on how to change the world from the inside out. Once they reached this goal, they hoped that The Great Country would never look the same.

Barack continued to make speeches that attracted the Easily Fooled and Uninformed, an odd people group dispersed across the land that cannot identify The Great Country on a map. Thousands gathered to hear him speak about Change; they cheered as he blew his nose, and they fainted as he looked skyward rolling words off his golden tongue. Lady O of Chicago even cried off her eyelashes causing more weight loss than she ever saw during the 20 year battle, known as the War of Weight. Celebrities, weary of the reign of George the II, spoke in aphrodisiacal phrases about Barack, knowing their futures were secure in the Land of Make Believe. The News Whisperers groveled at the feet of Barack, many compromising their careers in order to be identified as one of his devotees.

As Barack moved ever closer to his dream of becoming a great leader, even the economy of The Great Country bowed before him, sinking to its knees in a desperate attempt to usher in the winds of change and hail him as King. During this time, while the Kitchen Table Dwellers gathered together for family time to talk about revolt, death, depression, and suicide, Barack’s fundraising continued to flourish, reaching over 400 million dollars reportedly attributed to $50 a month donations from . . . the Kitchen Table Dwellers. In deep humility, larger donors known as Bundlers, chose to remain anonymous, keeping their donations and foreign ties a secret so that the Kitchen Table Dwellers would get all the credit for supporting Barack.

Barack is not without his enemies, however. The Minister of Photo Ops, Jesse Jackson, threatened to excise a private stash of acorns belonging to Barack. The Minister’s words, revealed by the Irish Fox, caused The Minister of Photo Ops to voluntarily throw himself under the Bus of Regret, thus increasing the size of the crowd beneath the bus (and prompting Barack to inflate the tires to make more room). Hillary, The Wearer of Pantsuits, and her husband, The Hoary-Headed One, tried to bring down Barack under the weight of her cankles and with the help of The Satirists of Saturday Night, but to no avail. The Great Elephant Herd, normally a formidable group of beasts, and its leaders The Ancient One and The Lady of Moose, said mean things about him, but missed the opportunity to warn the Easily Fooled and Uninformed before they drank the Elixir of Grape, a magical potion that makes you believe everything you hear. Even the bearer of the Golden Microphone with talent on loan from God and using the hand normally tied behind his back battled mightily against the power of the Elixir of Grape.

Barack Hussein Obama, commonly known as The Messiah, moved closer to becoming the great leader. Through the help of foreign governments, Weathermen, Muslim leaders, Hamas, typical white women, The Easily Fooled, The News Whisperers, cloned ACORN seedlings, and the entire Dallas Cowboy offensive line, Barack was only three weeks away from making the White House his new home, when the Kitchen Table Dwellers rose up, stirring the Herd of Elephants and inciting The Ancient One to act. They began fighting The News Whisperers and using the power of The Tube and the Great Screen of Messaging to question the story behind Barack, The Messiah. Even The Wearer of Pantsuits and the Hoary-Headed One went undercover during the last weeks. With Barack’s threat to free The Bus of Regret inhabitants and to exile the Great Herd of Elephants to Alaska, the fighting became fierce, demanding, and ruthless. Even Those of No Decision, who had been pursued unceasingly, hid from the melee wishing that it would pass.

The final chapter has not yet been written.

I really could care less if I get branded as some type of a loon, but my fear of an Obama presidency far outweighs any label I may receive, and, so, for what it’s worth, here is my diatribe. I’m to the point that I want to shake people and slap them across the face and say, “Wake up! Don’t you see through this guy?” 

As a Republican, if Hillary were the Democratic nominee, I would be bummed, reluctantly accepting this election as hers to earn, but I would not be anxious. With Barack Obama only weeks away from perhaps inheriting the title of “president-elect,” I genuinely fear for America. Frankly, I think America will have hell to pay if he is elected. Hopefully, we won’t go there.

Obama just does not seem like an American. Hillary, with her health care plan and all the other baggage she brought with her, at least seemed like she was genuinely proud to be an American. Obama seems to just stomach it, referring to America as “the country I love.” How stilted. Did that not bother anyone? I don’t think his goal is solely to rule America; he wants the world eating out of his hand. The term “leader of the free world,” means something different to him.  I don’t suggest that Obama is the “antichrist,” (though my son who has read the entire Left Behind series consistently brings up similarities between him and Carpathia); but I do think who he has CHOSEN to associate with, his inept comments (slips of the forked tongue?), and his cold, and almost programmed demeanor show that he is a candidate unlike any other we have had before, and, therefore, one to be feared.

Now, my misgivings have nothing to do with what he looks like; it has everything to do with those to whom he has been linked.   Ayers, for example. Hannity has said it ad nauseum (as well he should considering the wink and pass from the Obama media), but it makes it no less true—Ayers IS an unrepentant terrorist. The joke hitting e-mail accounts across the U.S. now is this:  “What do Obama and Osama bin Laden have in common? Both have friends who bombed the Pentagon.” At first, because of the sensitivity of the 9-11 tragedy, we might take offense at the joke’s crudeness; however, then a light bulb goes off and we think, “hmm… I never thought of it that way.” Obama has continually downplayed his connections with Ayers and others who hold anti-American sentiments. I don’t care what he promises, how well he speaks, and how “above-it-all” he tries to appear; why would anyone in their right mind vote for a guy with even the HINT of a connection with American enemies?   The risk is just not worth the empty promise of change.

Think Ayers doesn’t influence Obama? Remember the flag pin issue? Read the following words from Ayers’ blog and then read Obama’s response about not wearing the flag pin.

“The civil-rhetorical patriotism evident everywhere—the flags and signs proliferating, the elaborate story and the stock slogans, the giving of blood and the trips to “Ground Zero”—allows, perhaps, a shared grief and a shared incredulity at the start. Given the narrow American palette, reaching for the flag might have meant sympathy and unity at the start. But from the start powerful forces were busy using the moment to promote a narrow, repressive patriotism—dissent is unpatriotic, un-American—in the service of horrifying goals and purposes.

"You know, the truth is that right after 9/11, I had a pin," Obama said. "Shortly after 9/11, particularly because as we're talking about the Iraq War, that became a substitute for I think true patriotism, which is speaking out on issues that are of importance to our national security, I decided I won't wear that pin on my chest.”

Hmmm….

Let’s not forget Jeremiah Wright. You remember Rev. Wright; the one whom Obama dubbed as “not the Rev. Wright I knew,” the man whom Obama could not disown (until he got in the way of his sprint towards the nomination); the one who married Obama and Michelle and baptized their children; the one whom Obama sat under for 20 YEARS.   Yes, that same man who damns America, blames whites for every ill, and thinks we deserved 9-11. Obama claims complete ignorance of those views. WHAT? Those who haven’t drunk the Kool-aid are not stupid.   One would have to be a complete imbecile to believe that he did not know what Wright espoused. Obama then must subscribe to some of those same thoughts or else he would have left long before the political winds ushered him out.

If one man---that one---Barack Obama---has enough power and influence to start youth movements similar to what Hitler inspired, then something is amiss. Perhaps you haven’t seen the young, starry-eyed children singing about Obama changing the world. See for yourself.

THIS MAN SCARES ME! What is worse is that people are falling hook, line, and sinker for the eloquent, presidential-looking veneer covering a potential threat to America’s sovereignty.   You may hate Bush, but that’s no reason to replace him with a left-wing, socialist with handily hidden anti-American views. 

If Obama is elected, you might as well kiss your American lifestyle goodbye and pray hard for your children and grandchildren.

Rev. Jeremiah Wright received the gift of early retirement and is now secluded in his million-dollar Chicago home complete with an elevator, an exercise room, and a master bedroom with a whirlpool. Some reports indicate that he is even raising chickens.

Father Pflagler, too, took early retirement, separating from the Catholic Church (something he considered a white man’s world). He can now return to his work of helping prostitutes without raising as many eyebrows. Pflagler has also had a few stand-up comedy stints where the draw is his Hillary Clinton impression.

Bill Ayers who was “lost” and forgotten for a number of years has now been found. It’s so good to know where he lives and works. It’s even more fascinating that Obama lives in the same “hood.”

Oprah was able to get rid of some of those pesky Republican viewers when she wholeheartedly endorsed Barrack Obama and seems to have even overcome the minor setback of losing a pair of eyelashes.

The gifts bestowed by this man make my heart race.

Thanks to Obama, James A. Johnson (Obama's chief vetter and financial adviser) now has name recognition.   Who would have ever known that he had ties to Countryside and Fannie Mae.  If he ever decides to run for office, he will not have to be an unknown like ... let's say...Sarah Palin.

Christopher Dodd got to be vetted without having any success on the campaign trail, and we all have the comfort of knowing he received a sweetheart deal on his home mortgage. 

Chris Matthews can now devote more time to finding a cure for that strange sensation running up and down his leg.  I also heard he has organized a local softball league.

Keith Olberman can now take out his fury on important issues like Wal-Mart customers who leave their shopping carts all over the parking lot instead of putting them in the corral.

Joe Biden has moved from a mere United States senator to being a faith healer. 

Obama’s life changing works are so numerous; I don’t suppose there are enough blogs on the web to detail them all.

 

Foot “in” Mouth Disease is a highly contagious, and sometimes fatal, illness affecting liberals. Symptoms include retreating from ideals, retracting comments, rethinking attack strategy, disassociations, and in some cases, complete annihilation (Keith Olberman and Chris Matthews).

The disease reached pandemic proportions during the MTV awards hosted by Russell Brand whose international diatribe against Bush and Palin had the same antagonistic effects of a stranger insulting my mother.

Liberals simply can’t help themselves. The ever increasing foot-in-mouth plague will continue its march through the liberal media, the left-wing blogs, and the Democratic candidates, thus enabling the Republicans to stride stealthily over the casualties on their way to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

The only remedy seems to be a dose of common sense and lessons in old fashioned values. Visit your local Gun and Bible Clinger Clinic in rural America. (Services currently not provided by the federal government.)

The Obama phenomenon has pundits exhausting the extent of their political wisdom to explain its cause.  Most agree that Obama’s gift of oratory and his “new and improved” mantra have been what have stirred the masses.  The message has been “Jump in!  The water is fine.”

Is the direction of the masses a good path to follow?  Who are “the masses” anyway and what superior wisdom do they possess?  In some ways, the masses exist in the same realm as the “wrong crowd.”   Just as no one’s kid who gets in trouble is ever the “wrong crowd” (it is always someone else), similarly, no group participant would ever claim to be a part of an indistinguishable mass–they would instead claim individuality.  Though an accurate definition of “the masses” is difficult, the connotation is almost always negative.  Are the masses always misguided?  Not necessarily.  The error occurs when one follows the crowd simply because it is a crowd, with no investigation into where the throng is going and who it is following. 

In this political season the magnetic pull of the masses easily draws in those who are not nor have been rooted in any ideological mode—hence the multiple births of new voters stirred by the excitement generated by Obama—the new kid on the Washington block.   Though I detest giving Hitler any credit, he did understand the makeup of the masses:  “the political understanding of the broad masses is far from being highly enough developed to arrive at definite general political views of their own accord and [to] seek out the suitable personalities” (Mein Kampf).  In other words, the masses ain’t too smart.  Many are too busy or uninterested to do any serious study of a candidate’s ideas, choosing rather to let whim and “good feelings” be their guide.  So when a young (black) man captures the attention of the press and he is attracting large crowds, what’s not to like.  The uninformed stand back and say, “Wow!  I’m voting for him!”

That Hitler understood the power of utilizing the momentum of the masses is an understatement.  Knowing how to manipulate the crowds (however altruistic the manipulator may view himself) baits the hook that draws the fish.  According to Hitler, “the power which has always started the greatest religious and political avalanches in history rolling has from time immemorial been the magic power of the spoken word, and that alone” (Mein Kampf).  Obama has capitalized on that one bit of truth.  No one would deny that Obama can sermonize, but does eloquence replace perspicacity?  No, it doesn’t, but try telling that to the throngs, most of whom know very little about this man and what he truly stands for.

I don’t fear Obama as much as I fear the gullibility of the masses who have been enthralled with oratory and newness at the expense of asking the tough questions.  After all, a day at the rock concert is much more fun than a day doing research.  “Well, he can’t be all that bad; look at the crowds following him.”  That type of logic takes us down the Jonestown path dripping with Kool-aid.  Understanding how the manipulators manipulate and how the propagandizers propagandize keeps us from succumbing to the undertow stirred up by the masses.  Hitler understood that “all great movements are popular movements, volcanic eruptions of human passions and emotional sentiments, stirred either by the cruel Goddess of Distress or by the firebrand of the word hurled among the masses” (Mein Kampf).  When you have both the Goddess of Distress (Bush=disaster)  and  the firebrand  (eloquent aggrandizing), the masses are kissing your feet.

In countries without a free press, this type of manipulation goes on unchecked.  In our country, reporters are free to investigate those who make claims and desire a life of public service.   The only hiccup in this American distinction occurs because members of the press are also voters and most of them are Democrats.  Unfortunately, the liberal media is spending most of their time cooling their feet in the swift current of Obama’s rhetoric and his swooning masses rather than probing potential serious flaws.  The brilliance of a free press should not be squandered for political expediency. Candidates naturally are uncomfortable underneath the microscope, but voters deserve the investigation.   Danger ensues when “the Press” becomes “Press-lite” for the mere fact that the goal of electing one candidate over the other squelches serious investigative reporting.  Ignoring the obligation to fully report, question, probe, and scrutinize even the most favored candidate creates little distinction between America and a dictatorship. 

It is understandable that Democrats would assemble themselves en masse behind Barrack Obama, but the worrisome part about this growing mass of followers is how easily evangelicals (and even some Republicans) are sacrificing their beliefs at the altar of popularity.  Those who would never have supported a pro-choice candidate (or a candidate who supports gay marriage) have suddenly bought into the notion that Obama represents them as a Christian regardless of what he believes.  Some are getting goose bumps; some are feeling that the promise of unity is more important; some are stirred by his eloquence; some hear magic in the mention of the word “change.”  Evangelicals once stood as a dependable voting block on the social issues, but now the willingness of some to back a candidate that does not even remotely embody their beliefs has revealed a hypocrisy to which they will forever be identified.  The evangelical march to join the masses (thus becoming indistinguishable) will result in one less camp that a candidate will feel compelled to pursue, hence the evangelical demise as a political force.

Harnessing mass appeal proves very helpful when one is trying to win an election.  Once people have formally stepped into the flow of the movement of the masses, it takes too much effort to buck the swift moving current.  To keep the momentum going, Obama need only to stroke the waters by saying what the masses want to hear.  In their eyes, he can do no wrong.  In Hitler’s words, “a movement with great aims must therefore be anxiously on its guard not to lose contact with the broad masses. It must examine every question primarily from this standpoint and make its decisions accordingly” (Mein Kampf).  My hope is that the masses will not lead America down an unexpected and perilous path on November 4th.

 

Though Move-On is dismantling its 527 organization (not its PAC however), it didn’t fail to create a left-wing wacko commercial before it closed up shop.

In the commercial a mother tells John McCain that he can’t have her infant son Alex for the war in Iraq. The commercial’s stab at pathos is so loopy that I doubt it will have an effect on anyone accept those who totally oppose war for any reason. 

A few observations:

John McCain will be 90 years old when little Alex is 18 and I doubt that he will want the kid.

If Obama becomes president, we might be fighting the enemy on our own soil, and little Alex may decide that he wants to fight and defend his country.

With as much hysteria and lefty thinking that little Alex will be exposed to by his whiny mother, he may become the next Adam Gadahn who disappeared from California and then appeared as a leader in Al-Qaeda. Obviously, no president in his right mind would want him anyway.

With the lack of 527s poised to work for the Republican side and this latest news of the demise of Move-On’s own 527, one would assume that there will be no Swiftboating or left-wing high jinks disseminated from our TV sets this election.

I highly doubt that.
